Create blocks of study time. There are many activities which waste a lot your time. Another adage is that "perfection is the enemy of good", especially when it prevents you from starting! For example, place blocks of time when you are most productive: are you a morning person or a night owl?
Not only should you have a dedicated study space, you should have dedicated study time—blocks of time where you focus on your studies. Try something you have a good chance of following through and accomplishing. Schedule activities for after your school work. It also involves sparing time in your all activities to be utilized purposefully.
Suppose you can currently study five topics an hour, try to study six topics an hour, then seven topics the next day. For more difficult courses of study, try to be flexible: for example, build in reaction time when you can get feedback on assignments before they are due.
